Statement of Faith

Providence Church of Texas holds to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Reformed Baptist tradition. We affirm the authority and inerrancy of Scripture (Sola Scriptura), salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Christus), and that all glory belongs to God (Soli Deo Gloria). We believe in one triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who sovereignly governs all creation. Our understanding of salvation is Calvinistic: we believe God, in His grace, regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies those He has chosen. We practice believer's baptism by immersion and observe the Lord's Supper on the first and third Sundays of the month. Our full statement of faith is detailed below.
