Visit Providence Church in Rowlett, TX

Providence Church of Texas welcomes visitors every Sunday at 8000 Miller Rd in Rowlett, Texas, just east of Lake Ray Hubbard. We are a Reformed Southern Baptist congregation with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere where newcomers are greeted at the door but never put on the spot.

Sunday School classes for all ages begin at 9:15 AM, and our main worship service starts at 10:30 AM. We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early so you have time to find a seat and settle in. Parking is free and plentiful in the lot adjacent to the building. Our worship is blended — you'll hear great hymns of the faith alongside newer songs, accompanied by a mini-orchestra. The sermon is expository, typically working through a book of the Bible. Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers, and Children's Church is offered for ages 3 through 2nd grade.

What to Expect

Worship
We have a blended service with an assortment of great hymns of the faith and some newer songs. A mini-orchestra aids us as we sing. The sermon is expository, typically going through a book of the Bible.
Fellowship
You will find a warm and welcoming community. After the service, stay for coffee and conversation. We love meeting new faces and making connections. On occasion, we do a Pot Prov meal after church. You do NOT need to bring anything, we'll have plenty of food.
Children
We love kids! Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers during all Sunday services. Sunday School classes are available for ages 1s & 2s through 6th grade. For children ages 3–2nd grade there is Children's Church during the sermon, with activities based on the morning's topic.
Dress
Come as you are. There is no particular dress code — you'll find everything from jeans to suits on a Sunday morning. We want you to feel comfortable and focused on worshiping the Lord.
