Childlike Faith

Thursday · Anchor: Matt.18.4

From the sermon Seeking the Lost Sheep

From the sermon

What he's talking about is believers who have a childlike faith.

Scripture · Matt.18.4

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Reflect and pray

Greatness in the kingdom does not belong to the powerful or the sophisticated, but to those who humble themselves like a child. Childlike faith is not ignorance; it is dependence, trust, and unguarded devotion. Jesus identifies His 'little ones' not by age but by posture. When we stop grasping for status and receive the kingdom with open hands, we find the very greatness the disciples were chasing. Ask the Lord today to expose any pride that resists humility, and to renew a simple, dependent trust in Him.
