God Forgives Us, So We Forgive

Story Time

'You wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?' — Matthew 18:32-33

A king forgave his servant a huge debt. But the servant would not forgive a friend who owed him a small amount. The king was sad. He said, 'Because I forgave you, you should forgive too.' Jesus tells this story to show us that God forgives our big sin, so we can forgive others.
