Story Time
Long ago, God made a man and a woman to be a happy family.
What therefore God has joined together, Let not man separate.
When they feel sad or angry, they say sorry and forgive each other. God helps them love forever. That makes Jesus smile.
Motion
Stand up and link elbows with a friend. Say together, 'God joins us together!' Then sit down soft and slow.

Should we pull apart what God joined together?

Leader Notes
Tone: Warm, calm, and enthusiastic—like a gentle storyteller. Time: 5 minutes total (1 min story, 1 min motion, 30 sec question, 2 min coloring, 30 sec transition). Expected answer: No. If a child says yes or shrugs, smile and say, 'Jesus tells us that God joins a husband and wife like a strong team. We keep teams together!' Restless child: Invite them to hold the story Bible, pass out crayons, or gently pat their back while you read. Use simple redirect language: 'Let's show God's love with our whole bodies and our colors.'
