From the sermon
Jesus says in John 644, nobody comes to me, nobody can come to me. He says nobody can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them.
Scripture · John.6.44
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.
Reflect and pray
Salvation is not a human achievement; it begins with the Father's drawing. The preacher quotes Jesus to show that no one comes to Christ unless God first acts. This humbles our pride and comforts our fears. If you belong to Jesus, it is because the Father drew you. Pray today for those who do not yet know Him, asking that the same sovereign grace would draw them. Rest in the knowledge that God's purpose in salvation cannot fail.
