And what what angers these guys, what angers them is not the land owners greed. He's certainly not greedy with them. What angers them is his generosity, his grace, the grace that he shows to them.

Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?
Reflect and pray
The workers who labored all day were angry not because the owner cheated them, but because he was generous to someone else. The preacher points out that their anger was aimed at grace. It is easy to feel the same when God's kindness seems uneven. Ask the Lord to search your heart for envy. Pray that you would rejoice in His generosity toward others and remember that no one deserves more than His grace.
