It's not hard to serve people that you think are worthy, right? People that you think are worthy of service. It's easy to do that. It's hard to serve people you don't like.

If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
Reflect and pray
Jesus washed the feet of disciples who would abandon, deny, and betray Him. He did not wait until they were worthy; He served them because He loved them. This is the example He left for us: washing one another's feet means doing the lowly, hidden work of love for people who may never repay us. It is easy to serve those we admire, but Christ calls us to serve those who irritate, disappoint, or oppose us. Ask God to reveal any pride that makes you reluctant to serve someone you consider beneath you. True humility serves without keeping score.
