Born Again to See

no one can see the Kingdom of God unless one is born again.

Scripture · John.3.3

Jesus answered him, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.'

Reflect and pray

Physical eyes can behold creation, but only the new birth enables a person to see the kingdom of God. Spiritual sight is not achieved by effort or intelligence; it is a miracle of grace granted by the Spirit. If you trust in Christ, thank God for opening eyes that were once blind to His beauty and truth. If you feel dull or distant, pray that He would do what only He can do—give you life, light, and the lasting ability to see Jesus as He truly is.
