Jesus Cleans His House
And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. He said to them, 'It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you make it a den of robbers.'

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, 'Hosanna to the Son of David!' they were indignant.

Question 1: A House of Prayer
People were buying and selling in God's house. Jesus said God's house is a 'house of prayer.' Prayer means talking to God.

Question 2: Jesus Welcomes Everyone Who Comes to Him
Some people did not want blind people or people who could not walk to come close to God. But they came to Jesus, and Jesus made them well!
How did Jesus treat them? How can you be kind to someone who gets left out?

Question 3: Kids Can Praise Jesus!
The children shouted 'Hosanna!' to praise Jesus. The leaders got angry. But Jesus said God Himself made the children's praise.
